1965 Mustang Conv't

This is Ralph Hicks' 1965 Mustang Conv't.  He has brought it to us to restore for his daughter's wedding in September, which is not long from now.  We will do the best we can to get it done and done beautifully.

This car needs some work.  The hood is warped, the fenders and quarters need to be straightened, and the doors need some patch work and to be straightened as well.

We've begun to smooth out the hood with duraglass.

The floor was in decent shape when the car came in.  It only needed one patch on the driver's side underneath.

When we took the front fenders off, we found some old accident damage that we needed to repair, and undercoated the whole thing to look nicer and help maintain its structural integrity.

The inside of the fenders was pretty nasty, so we POR15'd them to spruce them up a little and reinforce their durability.

This is the underside of the hood before we ground it all down in preparation for the primer.

Here is the hood not long before primer.

The following images are of the car after it was painted and clear coated.

She's done!!!  She turned out great, and just in time for the wedding. The Hicks family was very pleased with the way the car turned out, and it made for a beautiful wedding accent for their daughter.
