This is Larry Charles' 1973
Gran Prix. It needs some major work done. Larry bought
this car brand new in 1973 from a dealership in Rensselear,IN.
He loves this car and he wants it better than brand new when it's
done. Of course, we are more than happy to
deliver.

The car had been sitting for a
number of years when it was brought to our shop, so it was in pretty
bad shape.

When we removed the bumpers, we
found that the supports were pretty rusted.

After we sanded the car down,
we found a lot of problems that were not as clear with paint
on. The inner and outer wheel wells were rusted away, and
needed to be replaced. Since the majority of parts for this
car are no longer available, just about everything has to be
fabricated.

We've fabricated the piece
needed to fix the wheel well, so now it's time to weld it
on.

All the work is finally done on
the car. We primed it, and here it is with its first bit of
paint on it. You can't even tell that at one point, the wheel
well was cut out and replaced.

The doors were bad when we
first got the car, but we were able to revive them, and now
they look brand new.

Isn't she
beautiful?

We hand fabricated the
fillers you see here between the bumper and the deck
lid.

The body and paint look
great. Larry was very pleased with the turnout of the
car. She's goin' home now, and Larry can't wait to take
her.
